Who this policy covers
This policy is published by Advanced Design & Development Inc (the company behind Windows and Siding Reno): window, siding and door replacement and installation in Northern Nevada. It covers windowsandsidingreno.com and the estimate process that begins on it: the forms, the calls, emails and texts that follow, and the records we keep. Your project is governed by your signed contract; this policy governs information.
What you give us directly
We collect what the forms on this site ask for, and nothing beyond it:
- your name, phone number and email address;
- the city, and on some forms the project address, where the work would happen;
- which product line you want quoted: windows, siding, doors, or a combination;
- whatever you type into the project details box (the age of the windows, the number of openings);
- whether you ticked the optional box asking for marketing email.
The form at Do Not Sell My Personal Information asks for less: name and email, optionally phone and the project city and state. Every lead form also stores, hidden, the exact consent sentence above its submit button and that sentence's version number, so our record matches what you saw.
What is collected automatically
Our hosting platform keeps ordinary web-server request logs: the IP address a request came from, the browser and device type it reports, the pages requested, and the referring URL.
Beyond that, plainly: this site sets no cookies. It uses no local or session storage, runs no third-party analytics, tag manager, advertising pixel or session-recording tool, and requests no web fonts from another company's servers. Loading a page hands your IP address to no advertising or analytics company.
How we use it
- to answer the estimate request and schedule a measure visit;
- to perform the work if you hire us (ordering product, coordinating the crew);
- to send transactional messages: appointment confirmations, crew arrival windows, your written estimate, project status and scheduling changes;
- to send promotional messages only where you separately opted in, and today only by email;
- to keep business, tax and warranty records, and to meet legal obligations.
We keep estimate and project records for seven years: our business practice, not a period we are attributing to a statute.
Calls and email
Submitting a form here authorizes Advanced Design & Development Inc (the company behind Windows and Siding Reno), and no other company, to contact you at the number and email you entered, by telephone call and email, including calls delivered using an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice, about the estimate you are requesting. You are not required to agree to that to buy anything from us.
We do not send text messages. No form on this site asks for permission to text you, and we run no texting programme.
You may withdraw that permission at any time, by any reasonable method: stop, quit, end, revoke, opt out, cancel, unsubscribe, or your own words. Federal rules forbid us to designate an exclusive means of revoking consent. We honour a request within ten business days, and in practice immediately.
Who else sees your information
Nevada's online privacy law (NRS 603A.340) asks five questions.
1. Categories collected, and categories of third party they are shared with
Collected: identifiers, contact information, project and service information, and automatic technical information. Shared with: our hosting and form-processing provider; our email delivery provider; our scheduling and customer-record software; product manufacturers, for warranty registration (Alside, Andersen, Codel, James Hardie, Jeld-Wen and LP SmartSide); subcontractors performing the work; and legal authorities on valid legal process.
2. How to review the information and request changes
Email info@windowsandsidingreno.com. A request for a copy, correction, deletion or marketing opt-out is answered within 30 days as a matter of our practice, which no statute requires of us here. A verified Nevada opt-out request runs on the statutory clock under Nevada residents below, which governs where both apply.
3. How we notify you of material changes
A changed policy is posted here with a revised "Last updated" date.
4. Whether a third party may collect covered information about your online activities over time and across different websites
No. There is no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking code on this site, and no third-party font, script or pixel request when a page loads.
5. Effective date
At the top of this page.
We do not sell your information
Nevada defines the term narrowly. NRS 603A.333(1) makes a sale "the exchange of covered information for monetary consideration by an operator or data broker to another person." We do not do that. The statute expressly excludes disclosure to a processor acting on our behalf, to a person with whom you have a direct relationship for a product you requested, consistent with your reasonable expectations, to an affiliate, or as an asset in a merger or acquisition. Giving your address to the crew, your product selection to the manufacturer registering the warranty, or your appointment to our scheduling software is none of those a sale. The channel NRS 603A.345 requires every operator to maintain is at Do Not Sell My Personal Information.
Marketing email
Commercial email we send is identified as an advertisement, carries our valid physical postal address (1155 Watson Way, Suite 7, Sparks, Nevada 89431) and carries an opt-out live for at least 30 days. We honour an unsubscribe within 10 business days (15 U.S.C. § 7704(a)(4)(A)(i)), usually the same day.
Your choices
Wherever in the United States you live, you may ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it (subject to records we must keep for tax, warranty and contract reasons) and opt out of marketing at any time. Email info@windowsandsidingreno.com or call (775) 391-8487.
California residents
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, reaches only businesses that meet one of its statutory thresholds: an annual gross revenue floor, personal information on 100,000 or more California consumers or households, or deriving half or more of annual revenue from selling or sharing personal information. We are a Nevada contractor working in Northern Nevada, we meet none of those thresholds, and we do not sell personal information at all, so we do not believe the Act applies to us. That is our own reading of the statute and not legal advice. We honour the requests above for California residents regardless.
Nevada residents
Nevada law (NRS 603A.345) lets you submit a verified request directing us not to sell any covered information we have collected about you. We do not sell covered information. The channel is at /do-not-sell/, or email info@windowsandsidingreno.com. We respond within 60 days, and will tell you if we need the additional 30 days the statute allows.
Security
Form submissions travel over HTTPS and are held by our hosting and scheduling providers under their access controls. Internally, access is limited to the people who quote, schedule, build or invoice your job. No storage is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, email info@windowsandsidingreno.com and it is deleted.
