What we install

What we install, and which material line fits which problem

Six manufacturer lines, four siding materials and three window frame families. Every page below opens on the decision that moves the number on the quote (the glass package, the material, the fastening) rather than on the colour chart. Colour is the last thing anyone should be choosing.

The catalogue

Eight pages, and the question each one exists to answer

These are not eight versions of the same sales page. Each one covers a different family of product, or a different way of putting one into the wall. Each opens on the variable that changes the specification most.

Replacement windows

Frame material first, then the glass build-up. Two units that look identical from the driveway can carry different U-factors, different spacers and different warranty terms, and the certified label is where that shows up.

Siding materials

A material comparison, not a brochure. Weight, fastening, seam strategy, repaint cycle and what each one costs to keep looking new fifteen years from now, laid out against exposure.

Fiber cement and engineered wood

The two heavyweight cladding families in one place: substrate requirements, cut and dust control, fastener spacing, and the joint detailing that decides whether a butt seam opens in year three.

Entry and patio doors

Slab material, threshold, sill pan and hardware. A door is the one opening in the wall that gets operated several thousand times a year, so the ironmongery matters more than the finish.

Cut-ins and new openings

A window where there was wall, a door where there was a window, or a bigger opening where a small one was. The header, the jack studs and the load path around the opening are the same scope as the unit that goes into it. So one shop owns the product and the hole it sits in.

Exterior remodel

Siding, windows and doors, the openings they sit in, and the trim, soffit and fascia that tie them together, priced and sequenced as one scope. One barrier, one flashing plan and one crew, so nothing is done twice or left for the next trade.

Commercial and multi-family exteriors

Envelope work on buildings nobody moves out of. Elevation-by-elevation phasing, written resident notice, and a bid package a property manager can put in front of a board without translating it first.

Brands we carry

One page per manufacturer line: what it is, which exposure it suits, and whose warranty is behind it. Useful if you already have a brand name from a neighbour and want to know where it actually belongs.

Product lines

Brands we carry, and why the list is short

Six lines rather than thirty. A crew that installs the same handful of systems knows where each one hides its fasteners, which flashing kit it ships with and who to call when a part is missing.

Windows come from Andersen, Jeld-Wen and Alside; siding from James Hardie, LP SmartSide and Alside; entry and patio doors from Codel. Where two lines would both work on a wall we price both. The gap between them is usually smaller than people expect, and it is easier to decide with two real numbers in front of you.

Manufacturer names and marks are the property of their owners and identify the product lines we install.

On paper

What a written scope from us actually contains

Whichever page you came here for, the document at the end of it looks the same. A quote that names a product line but not the unit is a quote that can be substituted after you sign it. Substitution is the most common way an exterior job gets cheaper without getting better.

  • The manufacturer, the line and the specific series for every unit or panel
  • Frame material, glass package or siding profile, and the exposure it is set at
  • The certified rating documents for the exact product, not a brochure range
  • What comes off the wall, what is repaired underneath, and what is assumed sound until it is opened up
  • Barrier, flashing and trim listed as line items rather than folded into labour
  • The freight window the manufacturer gave us, dated from order rather than from signature

Anything we find behind the old cladding that was not visible at the measure visit comes back to you as a written change before a crew touches it.

Next step

Tell us which wall, window or door you are unhappy with

You do not need to know the product line before you call. Tell us what the building is doing: drafts, fogged glass, cupped boards, a door that has to be lifted to latch. The measure visit turns that into a product list, and the written scope names the manufacturer, the line and the specific series for every unit or panel.

Prefer to talk? The shop line is (775) 391-8487, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

  • Nothing quoted from a photograph
  • Two products priced side by side wherever the wall makes it a real choice
  • Our own crews install what we sell
